DAY 01 : Cusco City Tour (Overnight Cusco)
Upon arrival to Cusco Airport. Reception and transportation to the Hotel where you will receive an aromatic coca tea to stimulating for the height, will have the free morning to rest and also we suggest you have a light lunch in either your hotel or in one of the surrounded; in the afternoon we will depart on a City tour (entrance to the archaeological centers and museums including) we will visit the Main square, Cathedral, the Koricancha (temple of the sun) and in addition we will make a route bordering archaeological centers like Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q’enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, tour finishes 6:30pm approximately at the main square in order you can take dinner in one of the exquisite restaurants in the area, then overnight. (No meals included)
DAY 02: Sacred Valley of the Inkas (Pisaq -Urubamba-Ollantaytambo-Chimcheros)-( Overnight in Cusco Hotel)
Breakfast. You will be picked up at 8:15 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the colorful Indian market in Pisac where a mixture of color and tradition will be able appreciated besides will have a good opportunity to try our bargain skills on the free time to interact with the local craftsmen to purchase their hand-made souvenirs. The Valley has a distance of 31 km (19 miles) of Cusco, and an altitude of 2,970 ms (9,700 p), Pisac is located to the entrance of the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the older town continuously occupied of the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their channels that have not varied from the time Inca, evoke their ancestral inheritance, lunch in a typical restaurant and after we explore Ollantaytambo we will be visit Chimcheros which is another great archeological site in the Sacred Valley we will be back in cusco at around 6:00pm (B,L)
Our transfer will pick you up at 10:00 a.m. (to be confirmed) and take you to the train station in Ollamtaytambo (1hour and 30minutes by privade car) – the train leaves at 1:00p.m. from Ollamtaytambo After a 2-hour journey of majestic views you arrive at Aguas Calientes (Hot Springs Town) where you will spend the night. There will be plenty of time to relax if you want to have a hot bath in the natural springs!!!
Visit the Machu Picchu ‘Manuel Chávez Ballón’ museum and orchid exhibition ($5 or 20 soles). This is open from 9am to 4.30pm and is a 35 minute walk down the road to Puente Ruinas. It is a very illustrative museum that gives an interesting introduction to Machu Picchu. (It’s worth it!)
After breakfast your Guide will get you on the first bus optional (6.00am) or you can walk up to Machu Picchu. You will have a guided tour (approximately 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes) and then plenty of time to explore the mysterious city by yourself. you will have a guiding tour for about 3 hours
Things to do:
- You can climb Huayna Picchu (the mountain behind Machu Picchu). It takes 45 minutes to reach the top and the view from the top over Machu Picchu is worth it. (There is a limit of 400 people who are permitted to climb this, so if you want to do it, it is good to go immediately after your tour.) From the top of this mountain you can also walk down to the Moon Temple (a cave). It takes 45 more minutes to get there and from there, a further hour walk to get back to Machu Picchu itself. Afetr that we will take our Train back to Ollamtaytambo tthen we will take a private transport back to cusco to your hotel
DAY 05 : CUSCO – CLOUD FOREST-PILCOPATA.
We leave from Cusco in our comfortable bus, ascending to the folkloric town of Paucartambo. On the way we visit the Pre Incas funeral towers of Ninamarca. Then we drive through the impressive cloud forest full of plants and beautiful orchids, here we take our first hike and we have the chance to observe the Peru´s national bird-Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruviana), monkeys and many differents species of birds. With luck the only South American bear-the Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos Ornatus). In the evening we arrive to Pilcopata, we sleep in a typical lodge. Showers and toilets shared.
DAY 6: PILCOPATA – BUENA VISTA.
In the morning after a delicious breakfast, the bus transfers the group to the port of Atalaya, where the adventure begin by motorized boat, to Our lodge for about 45 minutes through the Alto Madre de Dios river , you can swim on the river if you like ,the lodge has all the facilities such us : toilets,kitchen dining room , showers and rooms with beds and mosquito nets , In our journey you will appreciate amazing landscapes, enjoy also warm climate of the rain forest. In the afternoon we have a walk explore in the jungle for almost 2 hours in order to see Creeping insects like :Spider, tarantulesand other insects, birds, Monkeys and medicinal plants, we sleep in a typical lodge. Showers and toilets shared..
DAY 7: BUENA VISTA- MACHUWASI.
This day, we will do trek in the morning to see giant trees, Medicinal plants,orchiqs,and some big mamals like tapirs we can enjoy beautiful sunsets on this trip also. We wil cross the river in the afternoon and walk for about 30 minutes to the lake of Machuwasi we can observe the largest rodent in the world-capybara (Hidrochaeris) caymans and hundreds of birds in the night we are going to observe frogs, toads, insects, bats and snakes.we sleep in a typical lodge. Showers and toilets shared.
DAY 8: BUENA VISTA-ATALAYA – CUSCO
Early morning we take the boat for 20 minutes, down the stream to the parrots lick, we are going to observe the green parrots, blue headed parrot (Pionus Menstrus), mealy parrot (Amazona farinosa), chestnut-fronted macaw (Ara severa)and some others, returning to the lodge, we pack after breakfast, the boat will take us to the port of Atalaya. Our bus will be waiting to ride us back to the city of Cusco.
Day off in Cusco and you will travel from Cusco to Puno at 10:00 pm so you will arrive to Puno at 6:00 Am on the 8th day
Day 10: Uros Islands and Amantani
We will pick you up from the Bus Station so will take to our lodge where you can take a hot shower and have breakfast after this Between 7.40am and 8am Transfer from the lodge to the port and by motor boat we take you to one of the legendary Uros Islands where you can observe the lives of the Uros people who live on floating reed islands, some only 20 meters in length. After a beautiful 3hr boat ride we reach Amantani Island where we will break into smaller groups to stay with the local families. You have the opportunity to trek to the top of the mountain (4150 m.a.s.l) to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata and enjoy the traditional customs of the island people. Food and authentic music prepared and performed by your designated family meals’ lunch, dinner with

Day 11: Taquile Island – Puno
After breakfast we take a short boat ride to the neighboring Taquile Island, where we will tour around the ruins and visit these beautiful people, world famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings, after lunch we take the return trip to Puno. Arrival in the afternoon and transfer back to your hotel approx 4 pm. End of service. Meals 01 Breakfast, 01 typical lunch in Taquile.
Breakfast in your hotel. At the designated time you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Juliaca airport ( will take 40 minutes by private taxi) for your departing flight.
