DAY 1 LARES VALLEY : CUSCO - CALCA - AGUAS TERMALES LARES - WACAWASI
We leave from Cusco early in the morning by bus and travel through the Sacred Valley arriving to lares where you will find some hot spring waters (hottest ones) while you enjoy the hot springs our cook will make our food so after having lunch you will walk for about 4 hours to Huacahuasi which is going to be the first camping spot
DAY 2 LARES VALLEY : WACAWASI - IPSAYCOCHA-PATACANCHA.
Along this part of the trail will find some small native communities like huacawasi. People here produce some of the finest weavings in Peru. Here, we can observe their great skills and brilliant techniques in the fabrication of ponchos and other garments. Passing the village we begin climbing up to Condor Pass, the second of the trip at 4300m... From here, we catch a stunning view of the renowned Mount Veronica (5750m.) Descending gently for about one hour, so we go down to a nice place called Patacancha which will be the second camping spot .
DAY 3 LARES VALLEY : - PATACANCHA - WYLLOQ - PUMAMARKA - OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES
Today our trail leads downhill to an overlook facing a wide valley. Descending into the valley, we eventually arrive to the community of Huylloc where we have lunch, from here takes two hours to arrive to Pumamarka and enjoy the inca terraces, finally we arrive to
Ollantaytambo. Situated in a fertile river valley and sheltered by mammoth mountains, this ancient Inca village is considered one of the most important living museums in the world. This is a perfect place to appreciate the vast archeological remains and a wide variety of flowers and birds species. So after exploring the second archaeological site of the sacred valley we go to the ollantaytambo train station at 8:00 pm ( wemust be there 30 minutes before we take the train to aguas calientes )we spend the night there in a comfortable hostel
DAY 4 LARES VALLEY : AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICHU
After an early breakfast, we'll start walking up to machupicchu about 4:00 am to be there at 5:30 am because machupicchu will be open at 6:00 am as soon as you are guide will take you to a place where the postcard site is , to take some classical pictures of Machupicchu, and then the guide will explain you the story of machupicchu for about two hours an the you will have free time to explore by yourself .and after enjoying machupichu you have to go down to aguas calientes town to take the train back to ollantaytambo an then cusco .
